It started with a bonkers dream of owning a flower truck. Then a risky dinner over chicken pad thai where I asked Rachel to join me in this wild adventure (like literally was sweating and she probably thought I was going to give her the final rose and get down on one knee or something.... I was an anxious mess). But even then, I thought this dream was nowhere near becoming a reality yet just 10 months later this turquoise queen rolled on in to Chicago and has been filled with flowers ever since. She's a 1962 Chevrolet long bed pick up truck. YES, thats the original color! No, I can't drive stick but luckily she's been upgraded to an automatic. We love her, she's old in all the right ways and brand spanking new in a few ways that make her reliable and easy to zoom around the streets of Chicago. ![]() She's got her original steering wheel, rounded glass windshield, long bed wood paneling, perfect adorable circle mirrors and matching turqouise upholstery. Our hope is to make quality flowers more accessible in Chicago. There are not many options for flowers besides swinging past your local grocery store (I will not lie, I LOVE me some Mariano's... I mean they let you drink and grocery shop. YES and amen.) but its no mystery that grocery stores lack quality blooms and thoughtful designs. Flower Truck to the rescue! We love bringing top quality locally grown blooms to the streets of Chicago. So come on out and meet us Chicago! Find us on Instagram and Twitter to know where we will be parked each day this coming Spring/Summer/Fall 2019 season.
